As you already know Word press is a open source software package that you can install on a web server to create a fully featured website, that can be managed using just a web browser. Word press is available for download from (wrordpress.org). Before we begin to install there are few things you need. To begin with you need  a good web hosting provider. Most web hosting company provides shared space on a web server for less than 20 dollar a month, and providers includes simple tools to install Wordpress on your web server with just a few clicks. But in this we will cover the steps to mainly install Wordpress on your web server. To do this you also need four things, first of all you need FTP access to your web server, secondly you need a ftp client this is a desktop application that enables you to copy and transfer files from your own computer to your web server like Filezilla and here we will use transmit one of best FTP Clients for Mac users. Third, you need a text editor like notepad for text edit and last web browser of choice chrome, Firefox or safari.

To install Word press we essentially have to complete few steps:
1. Download Word Press from WordPress.org.
2. Upload the files to your web server using FTP.
3. Create a MYSQL database and user.
4. Configure Word Press to connect a database.
5. Run the Word Press installation script.

So, let's get started download an unzip the latest version of Word Press software from Wordpress.org, when Word Press is finished downloading than upload these files to your web server using your FTP client. I will switch to my FTP client and locate the newly download Wordpress files. Most of the FTP client work in a similar manner. On the left hand side all the files on our own computer and on the right hand side the files on Your web server, i will select all the files on the left hand side and drag it into the right hand side which will begin copy your files to the web server. While your files are uploading to the web server. Lets switch to our web hosting control panel, here we are using bluehtost as our web hosting provider. Under the Database panel i will click the MYSQL database icon to create a new database for Wordpress. Now then first  we will create a database, you can name your database whatever you want and then just click create database. Now we also need to create MYSQL user with permission access to modify this database, it is the good idea to use the secure password generator and than create users. We also need to add user to database an ensure that this user has been granted permissions to modify all database. Now, we need to connect Wordpress to our newly created database. Now, switching back to our FTP client our all files are uploaded on server. Now then rename file wp-config-sample.php to wp=config.php, then open this config file in your text editor or in a dreamweaver and then fill the database detail we created in control panel and then save this file and finally we are ready to run the Wordpress installation script. Just enter web address in your web browser and then fill out the few remaining details including our site title, administrator username and password and a primary email address. Wordpress is now installed on our web server and ready to begin to building our website. To access the wordpress administration panel simply type wp-admin at the end of your website url to pull up the Login screen and then enter the admin username and password an than click on login. Now wordpress in installed on your server.
